**Title: Springhill Suites Buckhead: A Holiday Horror Story** ⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ My stay at Springhill Suites in Buckhead, Atlanta was a masterclass in how to ruin a holiday. Let's start with the cleanliness - or rather, the lack thereof. The hotel was so dirty, you'd think they were going for an industrial grim aesthetic. Dust was the decor, and don't get me started on the floors; they were stickier than a freshly opened jar of honey. Staffing was a laugh. Asking for basic amenities like pillows and blankets was like requesting a moon rock. The front desk informed me, with all the warmth of a winter storm, that housekeeping was on holiday. You'd think they'd have backups, but no - it's a holiday for everyone, apparently, including guest comfort. When I went down to get these essentials myself, the experience was surreal. They couldn't provide a pillow, but they offered a blanket with the brilliant suggestion to stuff it into a pillowcase. Ingenious, right? Like solving a puzzle with half the pieces missing. The layout of the hotel? It's like a labyrinth for the lost. Every turn was confusing, every corridor seemed to lead nowhere useful, making you feel like you're in some sort of endurance test rather than a hotel. Request Refund for my trip
I am disappointed with this property and my experience with hotels.com on this trip. My flight was delayed from Lagos Nigeria and I sent an email ahead of time that I will be arriving late and would like to keep my booking. I was traveling with 4 children and my husband. We arrived the hotel 6:10am the next day and we were told our booking was cancelled as a no show. I have the record showing I sent an email contacting the property as I was without cellular service. I was still charged my full booking fee and was told there was nothing they could do. I stayed in the hotel with a different reservation and they room was not cleaned for one week.

We are ones of the evacuees trom Tampa due to Hurricane Milton, we drove from 3pm-arrived at 4:30AM NEXT DAY, it was a long and exhausting /stressful drive with kids and pets. Upon check in, a female manager attended to us(SHE REFUSED TO DISCLOSE HER NAME when I asked she said" YOU DONT NEED TO KNOW MY NAME!!!) she was RUDE and no personality at all. Before I booked, l askes if they would accommodate pets, KIETH (day shift) was amazing and empathetic, HE ASKED his GM if they would and HE confirmed that they will and also with no charge at this time due to the circumstances. BUT UPON check in, THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER WAS CHARGING ME EXTRA money/dog at which it would be an unexpected budget for us. So I explained to her that per kieth, THERE'S no charge. SHE WAS ADAMANT AND TOLD ME in her own words with no apologies, "WELL IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY THEN YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!" THIS IS AFTER THEY ALREADY CHARGED MY CARD FOR THE ENTIRE 3 NIGHTS plus DEPOSIT. Dog fees was about to be charged on my incidentals. SHE HAD NO EMPATHY THAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH TOUGH SITUATION, DROVE 13-14 hours on the road with no SLEEP AND WITH YOUNG KIDS AT THAT AND MY SICK BROTHER WHO'S ALSO UNDER dialysis treatment, SHE HAD THE audacity TO TELL US TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE INSTEAD?!!!! I had a panic attack after our conversation AND WAS IN TEARS!! The next day, the one who WAS ON DUTY AND straightened the whole mess. So we are extremely pleased with him.
