Incredibly disappointed, gross and unhelpful
We called ahead to confirm that the hotel hot tub and pool were open before making our booking and both my friend and I received independent conformation of was as that was one of the primary features we were looking to using. However, when we arrived the next day they were both closed "due to a missing part" that was needed and we're closed our entire stay. When we asked if we could get additional firewood for our executive suite kiva to make up for the closed hot tub we had intended to use we were told no, we could buy more at $8 a bundle. Then, when I asked to verify that the requested roll away bed was in the room they said they hadn't delivered it yet and there would be an additional fee for it. I showed them my booking conformation that said "free rollaway" and the front counter staff said that they can't honor the listed amenities on hotels.com where we had made the booking. Then when we checked into the room the room was freezing and the heater fans squealed and were excessively loud. The toilet in one of the bathrooms leaked water out of the toilet ring every time we flushed. The Murphy bed didn't have any bedding on it. When I asked to speak to a manager (both at check-in when they told me the hot tub was closed and at check out), there was no manager on site. I asked for my itemized bill and was told there were no charges but then saw the roll away bed charges come through on my statement along with the hotels.com charges later. Lastly, the showers were gross

Pros: Grounds are beautiful, and the restaurant and bar were nice to walk to. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: the hotel is fairly dated. The hot tub was not very hot, and had a lot of debris floating in it. Sheets were clean but very old and threadbare. Overall this would be a decent weekend spot, but I wouldn't stay more than a couple nights again.

Excellent stay
Very clean and safe. I loved this stay. Only demerit is since my room was near the pools heard some noises. After 9:00 PM it is peaceful since pool is closed. Merit is easy access to pool from Patio door.

a family vacation
the staff were super nice and friendly. with that said - the rooms are old, the furniture are old and broken. each time we needed something from the front desk - it took us three times and couple of hours before we got what we needed (coffee, towels, extra blanket, etc.) the property was not clean - and during the four days we spent there - a candy wrap was on the same spot on the stair, not to mention - people who took the garbage to the hallway and it just stood there . apart for the location - which was nice, the property is offering much.

Booked a 2 queen bed room. They said it was under construction when we got there. Told us we get an upgrade. Ended up in a room with one queen bed and a murphy bed. Not happy .uncomfortable. Needs updates badly. People were nice .liked the bar and music.
