It was a great place. Too bad the Beach access was under construction. Breakfast was awesome. The only complaint was the noise on the forth floor when the restaurant moves all the bottles (garbage)around 10:00 pm This is a place I would go back to again.

Por motivo de saúde, ficamos apenas UMA noite das duas reservadas. Tivemos que voltar a Lisboa onde ficamos no Holiday In Liberdade Lisboa. Solicitei o reembolso de uma noite não utilizada e o funcionário disse que seria problema a ser resolvido com a Expedia. Mas, tudo funcionou perfeitamente com este bom hotel e excelente restaurante.

Great Location for Beaches
This was a great hotel for the beaches in this area and for walking along the boardwalk. Price was reasonable for the Faro area. We did not get great beach weather so that was not so good. It was a bit of a walk to get to the old city and the Marina, so we mostly took Ubers. There is not a lot around the hotel and several restaurants close by were closed or not open all the time. The rooms were nice and big enough. We had a great view of the ocean and beach area. The bed was very comfortable and the heating/cooling system worked great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room service was very good. The breakfast was good and the main restaurant was very good as we had supper there twice. We did not use the pool or rooftop restaurant as the weather was not warm enough.

We were only there 2 nights at the end of October. Our room on the 2nd floor was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast with lots of options.

We spent a week at the Carvi and found it relaxing. The staff was great, the rooftop restaurant was wonderful, the pool area was fun and the snack bar personnel were outstanding. We had a little difficulty with the air conditioning, but once we figured it out, we were fine.

Worth the money!
We thought this place was excellent for the price but do not want to give 5 stars and mislead people to think it is fancy. The location is excellent, the breakfast is good, the rooms are decent. The beach is right there and gorgeous and you can walk for miles on the trail leaving the parking lot. We would stay here again.

What a treasure it was to find Lagos, Portugal and the Carvi Beach Hotel. We were travelling through Spain and Portugal and this hotel and location couldn't have come a a better time in the trip! All the staff are very helpful with whatever your request or question. The location is stunning! There are many beaches and walking paths around this hotel. We stayed in a clean, well-appointed room for four people. There were two beds in each room as well as a bathroom for each room. The rooms were separated by an archway to create a bit of separation for all guests. The breakfast was amazing and had a lot of choices for travellers. That breakfast area turns into a wonderful rooftop restaurant at night with spectacular views of the ocean. The beaches around the hotel are awesome with beautiful rock formations and tide pools. While you're at the Carvi Beach Hotel, make sure you take a boat trip to see the other rock formations and caves along the shore - it was worth every penny! It was such a nice surprise to find this area and we can't wait to return for a longer experience!

Hotel was in a perfect location to walk to old town Lagos and visiting beautiful beaches of Lagos. Hotel had rooftop bar and restaurant that gave you amazing views of the coast of Lagos. Highly recommend staying here if staying in Lagos!
