Couple Getaway
This was a one night couples getaway with a slight drawback. Check in at the front desk was pleasant. Hotel and room was clean. Parking is free and there were plenty of spots available throughout the day and night. The lot is a bit tight though. Side entrance access into hotel with key card was convenient and worked well too. The only drawback was at bedtime you could hear the guest above on the second floor walking around and we were awaken out of our sleep a few times.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean and sanitary. Hot breakfast everyday, each day was different but good. The customer service from every employee was great, they were all very nice.

Very clean, nice room, wonderful complimentary breakfast, and nice staff. Was not aware of exterior renovations, but that was okay. No pool furniture, but on order. Close to everything in Dothan and a safe place to stay.

The lobby reeked of very strong cleaner in attempt to cover up the moldy smell of the hotel. It is under renovation, and the construction site is not clean or well kept. The halls were hot, humid, and the carpet was wet. They were using fans to dry the carpet. Inside the rooms, it was so humid that the sheets were damp and so was the carpet. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. I will never stay at this property again.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was tasty, and they provided different options for breakfast. The dining room was clean. Definitely will be staying here again thank you.

First impression.
The view of the building being worked on the outside is a little scary. When you walk in the front door and meet the people and see the inside the thought is were good.

Property has been in full remodel construction mode since January. Still Not finished. Limited parking due to equipment and contractor vehicles. Pool closed and filled with algae and debris. Napping is difficult but is possible between periods of drilling and hammering. Previous stays at different Hampton Inns have been pleasant but cooperate has dropped the ball. Last Hamton Inn for me !

Should be closed for renovations!
Stayed here on two separate nights. Although the hotel room as nice, the television had no link to the internet so we could not access our Prime or Netflix accounts. Additionally, there is no mention on the hotels sight that the hotel in under renovation and there is trash everywhere outside with the pool currently filled with trash and unusable.

The Dothan Hampton Inn & Suites was everything you expect from Hampton Inn. The room was clean and housekeeping was amazing. The issue was we were unaware it was under a renovation. The parking lot had a lot of construction debris around, the building looked a little rough (due to the construction but still...) and the pool was green and had what looked like debris in it. The inside of the hotel was great once you got in. I don't hold it against the hotel for the reno, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Again, the staff was super friendly and the rooms were very nice so the important stuff was covered.
