I understand Econo isn’t exactly a luxury brand, but this location managed to set a new low for me. The owners seem to live in the office, which might explain why the lobby felt more like someone’s living room than a hotel. The smell throughout the place was unforgettable—and not in a good way. My room featured a broken glass tabletop and missing electrical fixtures, which was a fun surprise to manage while traveling with a 6-year-old. When I brought these issues up, the staff suddenly seemed to lose the ability to understand English.
If you’re thinking of staying here, I’d strongly suggest reconsidering. For the same price—or a mere $20 more—you can find an actual hotel. Honestly, sleeping under a bridge might provide a more restful and less hazardous experience.
