1st, they charged me a $49.30 fee incorrectly and didn't mention it. When i asked them their response was "its being refunded" as if that somehow excuses them from telling me. I only realized the charge was made because i got 3 different payment notifications on my phone as I stood at the counter.
2nd, they asked for my card as a security deposit but, didn't tell me that they were actually charging $100 on my debit card. They should've made that clear BEFORE charging it.
This is in addition to paying a $40 pet fee...so, we had the $65.59 Expedia payment for my wife & I then a $40 fee for my two 15lb dachshunds plus an improper $49.30 fee then a $100 security deposit pulled $254.89 out of my account.
Also, their breakfast was just hard boiled eggs, toast and bananas.
Now, the room itself was much nicer than a $65.59 room. Still, it really bothered me that they failed to inform me that they had mistakenly charged me $49.30 (I had better get it back) and failed to ASK if they could actually debit $100 from my bank account for the security deposit. Places should be clear that it is a "Continental" breakfast in their advertising. We went to Burger King.
