Came to Laughlin with some guests to see a concert. Check in was easy. I guess you get what you pay for at the Golden Nugget. I was in room 453 which was in definite need of an upgrade. Cracked porcelain sink, old furniture etc. Bed was very large and comfortable. My friends were a few doors down in room 477 and it had definitely been renovated with better looking furniture and better air conditioning. There is a fridge in the room and a Keurig which is a plus. Casino reeks of cigarette smoke, good thing we were only walking through. All guest rooms are non smoking. Wifi worked well. Restaurants/buffet either closed or limited hours due to being short staffed, or so the posted signs indicated. Ok for an overnight stay.
