So NOT stay at The Vineyard

Hotels.com needs to remove this hotel from their site. Absolutely horrendous - from stained furniture, dirty stained mattresses, chemical cleaning smell that hurt our lungs, to outdated damaged furniture and run down facilities. Our family walkedn our room and our mouths dropped at the poor condition. Not sure how it passes inspections. Charged over $230 for a 5 min stay and immediately checked into the Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center (total luxury)for leas than The Vineyard! I told the lady at the Vineyard front desk why we were checking out and, of course, there was no refund and no apology. So disappointing.

Not ideal

The room was tiny. The "living room" was not comfortable to just sit and hang out for the 3 of us traveling. The fridge was missing the handle, the cheap coffee maker had burned on gunk. All the cups in the cupboard needed to be washed. There were multiple roaches in the kitchen area. The pull out bed was nothing more than a 2 inch thick foam mattress with stains all over it. I will say the AC worked amazing and loved that the rooms had ceiling fans. The water pressure in the shower was amazing as well. Overall it was a place to sleep and convenient location but wouldn't stay there again.

Getaway from home

Great customer service at the moment of entry and helpful knowledge of the surrounding. the room was just like home with all the amenities making it easy to relax with our children. Full kitchen and bathtub was just what we needed for our 5 month old.

Great value! Welcoming staff :)

Old refurbished property with a unique outdoor/patio style. Robin the receptionist was super welcoming and diligent. Lots of courtyard space, it fell cozy and safe. They offer a wine social 5:30-7:00 pm, that was a nice thing. The gardens and building are well maintained. The rooms could use a carpet, sofa, and bed cover update. Our bed was comfortable, the A/C was very powerful and the water pressure and temperature was incredible. The kitchen had the minimally needed supplies, although we did not cook. The floors and carpet could use a deep cleaning, however the bathroom was impeccable. The breakfast had enough variety of items, although the only hot option was the waffles. The property doesn't have any adjacent business just a real large grass field to walk your pet, maybe that helps with the quietness. One of the pet stations was out of bags, but the surrounding area was clean. Despite it being motel style (outdoor hall) it was very quiet. It is well located when passing through or visiting this town. We will definitely stay here again when visiting.

My family and I stayed here to for the weekend to attend a sporting event in town. We were very pleased with our accommodations. The location was fabulous. We are definitely planning to stay here again
