It’s a beautiful, well-maintained property. We stayed in a cute little three-bedroom cottage that had everything we needed. The floors were not very clean, so I wore house slippers, but everything else was clean — bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen. Waimea is hot, so it was great to come back to AC. We really loved our stay and would recommend Waimea Planation Cottages to anyone looking for accommodations on the west side of Kauai.

My stay at Waimea plantation cottages was amazing. Great location, cottages are super homey and cozy. Right by the beach, and had a pool. Only thing I wish is hot tub stayed open later than sunset. Overall would recommend and hope to come back and stay again.

lovely peaceful old world place. Beautiful grounds. If you are looking for the antithesis of the high rise tourist hotel, this is it! The black sand beach is great for walking or riding horseback, but not swimable. ( the pool is popular) We loved sitting on our porch in the morning looking at the ocean hearing the birds. And watching the sunsets in the hammocks or lawn chairs was great! Very friendly laid back place. We were disappointed that the restaurant on the grounds wasn’t better and there weren’t many options nearby.

A unique cottage getaway on Kauai. It is located on the Waimea side of the island, which is quiet and peaceful. The property has thoughtful amenities such as available gas grills, beach chairs, movie DVDs, and a fully stocked kitchen. My family enjoyed our stay.
