Poor experience

This was the worst motel I've ever stayed in. No tv and they said none was available in tbe building. Furniture was dirty. Breakfast was veery. Poor..asked them to transfer my reservation and they refused and said I could try it myself. A horible experience.

I love HJ, I’ve stayed at several over past years but this one was just poor quality. Room needs work in bathroom area, needs major update. Paint chipped. Went to free breakfast at 8, which runs from 6-9 and no food! No service person around. Very disappointed since I know HJ quality is always great.

Everything average except breakfast and room service. Breakfast was very simple, no proteins. Telephone was not working and no dial tone and we had to use our cell phone to call the front desk for an additional bath towel. The front desk person promised to deliver a bath towel in the same evening but we never got it until next day morning we had to personally pick up from the front desk. The building needs painting because we noticed peeled paint everywhere

Specifically chose this hotel because they had a pool. For some reason they still did not have it open mid-june because they hadn't got a certification for it though they show it on their website. Also advertise full breakfast with waffles. Great breakfast if you like American cheese slices still wrapped in plastic + eggo waffles. There was a smell to the room probably due to the peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling and walls. Also, the steps leading up to the room. We're broken and dangerous. The cable TV turned out to be three channels. The bed was clean but that was about the only thing that I can say.

Room smells if mildew. Paint chipping off the walls. Cob webs. Bed uncomfortable. Only 4 tv channels and they were all PBS. Would have rather had a smaller fridge and more tv options. Old rinky dink coffee pot. Did I mention the smell???

Hotel room smelled horrible and the paint was peeling off the walls. Also the tv cable wouldn't work. Was very disappointed.

Never will I ever stay here again

The hotel was absolutely horrible and the pictures of rooms and the property are not at all accurate. The room had a very strong smell of musty mildew and stale smoke. It was stated as non-smoking. The room had very old and dirty carpeting and wallpaper that was from the late 1970's partially peeling from the walls. The tub had multiple cigarette burns on the edge. The light fixture in the bathroom was missing a cover and what was there was rusted and flaking. The shower curtain was stained. The sink area had multiple holes that were patched in a haphazard manner. The only reason we did not run out of the room was that it was late at night and the beds were actually not terrible. Mattress was clean and sheets clean. The room overall was about $50 night worth and we paid 4x that. The breakfast buffet was horrible and there wasn't any food left but a few hard biscuits and some toast by 8am. Maybe this property updated a few rooms for the pictures or used some AI. We had a horrible experience

For the price I paid for one night should be criminal! Look at the pictures!! Room 119 1. The non existent peep hole that’s plugged up with a paper napkin 2 and 3 paint flaking off the wall 4 cigarette burns on the tub 5 wall cracking 6 TV didn’t work.
