Nice room, clean and friendly staff. Nice pool too, which was a pleasant surprise. That side was really good.
Breakfast, however, left much to be desired, which seems par for the course at any motel (or hotel for that matter). Is it too much to ask for decent fruit, decent bread/pasties, a wide selection of jams/honey etc (which keep for ever)? All throw-away cutlery, plates and cups - straight to landfill. Give how beautiful the country is, why do we create so much waste? Unfortunately it seems that the bar is so low for hotel breakfasts in the US, that nobody is willing to raise it an inch.
