We had a terrible experience at Best Western Prince George Downtown. When we checked in around 8:00pm, we found visible stains on the bedding. Instead of apologizing or resolving the issue, the manager repeatedly interrupted us and insisted the only solution was a refund, telling us to find another hotel. He even said not to mention the bedding issue again.
Even worse, the manager knocked loudly on our door twice—first, insisting on personally checking the sheets even after we had already shown photos, and later again while I was taking a shower, disturbing our rest and completely disregarding our privacy.
This ruined our first night in Prince George and left us feeling dismissed, stressed, and disrespected as paying customers. A hotel should at least meet basic standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and respect for guests’ privacy, but this location failed on all three.
