Terrible

We had a terrible experience at Best Western Prince George Downtown. When we checked in around 8:00pm, we found visible stains on the bedding. Instead of apologizing or resolving the issue, the manager repeatedly interrupted us and insisted the only solution was a refund, telling us to find another hotel. He even said not to mention the bedding issue again. Even worse, the manager knocked loudly on our door twice—first, insisting on personally checking the sheets even after we had already shown photos, and later again while I was taking a shower, disturbing our rest and completely disregarding our privacy. This ruined our first night in Prince George and left us feeling dismissed, stressed, and disrespected as paying customers. A hotel should at least meet basic standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and respect for guests’ privacy, but this location failed on all three.

Very tight on parking due to Construction.

It was a reasonable place to stay at. Since construction is going on down town, it has very limited parking to speak of. It has absolutely no real parking for larger pickups, as they are too long for the small lot and/or the garage area. I wound up having to park in a dentist office parking lot about 200 yards away. The room itself was a BW basic setup and the hotel was pretty quiet overall.

Repeat stay

The room was nice, being able to watch Netflix on the TV was a bonus. It was my second time staying here in 3 days. The price was affordable and I knew what to expect. Quick check-in, decent breakfast even though I was a bit late and it was busy. Downtown Prince George doesn't have a ton of options for eating, didn't see if the hotel had any partnerships with local restaurants for deals.

Unimpressed individual

Horrible plus horrible customer service and because I couldn't make it into town that evening I missed out on my stay! I tried calling no answer, I tried there messaging app and it was down and so I called the next day to ask if they could move my reservation to the day I made the call and was turned down with no explanation as to why considering they were already paid in full because I went through Sezzle to pay for the room! So I then asked them for a full refund and the lady said she was to busy to deal with me and that I'd have to either wait or go through Sezzle to get a refund! I'm not one bit impressed with the staff nor am I impressed with the hotel as a whole!! If they'd have just bumped my reservation up one day I'd have been able to see my wife for the only night out of the entire month as I work out in camp and there's a lot of travel time so unfortunately I'm stuck seeing once a month but the money is good!

A few hiccups but otherwise a great stay.

Elevator was out of order and the air conditioner in our room was not working, but the staff would have moved us if we needed it. Rooms are renovated and breakfast was great.
