Great place to stay
Stay up as quite wonderful. There was really only one issue with my stay. I had a room that lead directly to the outside in winter. I was constantly tracking in salt and water. I asked if there is as a welcome mat available for the interior of the room and there was not. Salt and dirt was constantly getting all over my room. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Good: suggest booking
I decided to spontaneously book a little get away for my boyfriend and I for Valentine’s weekend. At first, I was back and forth on booking my stay due to having read pervious reviews, but I’m so happy I did. Were there little mishaps in the room, sure. But it was clean, quiet, and well maintained. Beds were also comfortable enough for a few night stay. The hotel is a bit understaffed, but the person who was here essentially running it all was excellent. He even ensured me an extra day in the room for a fair price when an unexpected snow storm kept us another night. We didn’t have the complimentary breakfast, but when I did go into the main office it looked yummy enough. Thanks, Port Inn, for a weekend we won’t forget!

Decent Place to Crash for a Night or Two
The hotel is a very nice property. Classic New England Style. Upon arrival the front desk attendee was very friendly and pleasant. Check in was easy and quick. The location is not ideal. It is directly off a rotary and right on the highway. Felt like a rest stop and not a rest destination. The noise of traffic was unavoidable and quite loud. Our room was right next to the highway, literally. We did have our dog with us so that may explain the location. There was a 30 fee for our dog which was not stated anywhere when i booked online. Seems like a Summer Place. There is a pool and some decent sitting areas. Staying in February was a different experience. It's good if you've had a long day and just want to crash at the first place you come across.

High Points, and Low
On a recent stay, we booked a standard king room. The room itself was of decent size and reasonably well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were excellent. The shower, while a bit on the small side, had very comfortable water pressure. The downsides: For whatever reason, we were booked into a room that can best be described as staying in your parents' finished basement. The ceiling was LOW. The television, while nominally connected to cable/satellite, got only one channel. In addition, several of the power outlets in the room didn't work. I forgot to mention the true high-point of the stay: The staff. Our experience with each and every staff member we met was excellent. Would I stay here again? Yes. But I would make SURE to get a room in a different part of the property.

Do not stay here!! We had two rooms. One toilet was clogged when we arrived the other clogged and overflowed the next morning. The manager was rude and said nothing he could do about it. Left us to clean up the toilet water flowing everywhere. Two people in our party could not shower. The next day when I spoke with him his attitude was no better and when someone in Our group knocked over some paper cups he said “nothing but a f***ing doofus”. This is the worst place I have ever stayed! It was old and needed repairs. For the price it should have been way better.
