A lot newer and nicer than the hotels in the Shady Grove area, which isn't that far, but maybe 2 miles away. I have written a lot of reviews in 2018 and 2025 of the Comfort Inn, the Sleep Inn, and the Ramada Inn (or Radisson); they are all much older hotels. I stayed at the Ramada Inn for about two weeks this year, but it was rather old but better than Comfort and Sleep.
Typically, the Best Western is priced similarly to these 3 hotels. Sometimes it's more, and sometimes it's cheaper. Of the three hotels on Shady Grove Road, the Best Western and Comfort Inn are priced similar. The Best Western is much cleaner and newer. The rooms at Comfort Inn are also smaller. The.Comfort Inn has slow internet. The Best Western Internet averages over 100 Mbps; at the Comfort Inn, you're lucky to get 10. The air conditioning and heat are very consistent and modern. The Comfort Inn might offer a free breakfast, but the eggs and everything else are processed. The Best Western's $14 breakfast features fresh eggs and pancakes, plus plenty of sides, and it’s all you can eat. I had about three plates of eggs! The pancakes are freshly baked and not processed.
The Best Western is the best pick if you are searching. The rooms are much nicer. It’s worthy of a 3.5 star hotel.
The Sleep Inn is owned by the same company as Comfort inn. Both the Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn have rodents problems.
The Ramada is worthy of 3.5. It is rather old.
