Great place to stay

sandy floors
room was nice but floor was and felt dirty. there was a pile of sand by the officer chair and table legs. showing the room has not been cleaned or attend to in a while. there was no sand near the hotel. hotel staff was kind and friendly. hotel said it offered a game room but could not find it. pool was nice.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The only thing I did not like about the hotel is it did not have an elevator, But, they did give me a first floor room when it was requested.

There were ants in my room the second day which were cleaned up but still to know there were ants gave me the ick and when I asked for more towels the guy at the front desk made a little bit of a fuss about it and asked for a new duvet cause the one in my room was dirty in certain parts he said they didn’t have anymore and offered a nasty blanket. I’m just a little disappointed as I am currently homeless and have been looking for a good place to lay my head at night and wantsd to give my business to them but skimping on towels and having ants irritated me.

The bed was comfortable, the coffee was good, continental breakfast was good. The pillows are comfortable. Things that could be improved upon are the shower head and the toilet paper roll holder or both looking like they were hanging on by a thread. The trim around the external door and the bathroom doorway we're coming apart from the wall. The plank flooring was buckling in parts. The television guide was sticky from previous guests.

When i checked in to the room, i noticed the remote for the TV missing. I searched the room with no results. I did see extreme amount of dust and debris behind the dresser withe TV. Multiple placards, pens, and garbabe. I could also see that the door had been attempted to be broken into previously the door jam had dents around the latch, and the the door had no latch plate. The would also not shut. This is a fire code restriction and a safety concern if you are not aware.
