A little disappointing
After checking in found that our key cards didn't work. Was admitted by receptiomist and told someone was called to fix. Maintenance finally came around 7pm and replaced batteries in door lock. I guess there wasnt another room available where key card worked. Swivel TV but everytime we moved it the plug came out. During the course of the night and in the am, we could hear very loudly the showers in nearby rooms. Poor construction. Breakfast was marginal. With all this, we were charged a room rate of $165 plus tax...$184. At best, this hotel was worth $100.
Probably wont be staying at Holiday Inn Expresses for awhile. We are heading to AZ and have booked the next 2 nights at LaQuinta. So far, nicer and less money.
