Stayed a night because we was heading to the beach so drove half way, room smelled so strong of cologne and I have bad allergies and asthma. Ask to change was informed there was no more rooms check for a new place to stay everything was sold out if it would have been for my 4 year old I would have sleep in the car. I am having to go to the doctor due to a asthma attack and allergic reaction all over my body I was miserable on my family vacation at the beach I couldn’t even have a good time!

Hotel is looking older than I previously experienced. I was also charged an additional room tax besides what was charged by HOTELS.COM. Room service was poor. My bathroom towels were the only amenities that was changed by the room service. Female staff was impolite during check-in. Breakfast was fair.

Staff was okay. Left hotel for a few hours came back room was not cleaned-did not leave "do not disturb" sign on door the cleaning staff saw us leave the room;next day same thing;on Saturday caught a cleaning staff member who gave us clean towels; the room needs updating;no vent was in the bathroom stains were on the ceiling of the tub; the tv went in and out and the tv remote had no cover had to hold the back of the remote to change channels which did not always work; please update the bathrooms and train the cleaning staff; breakfast staff-one person was great

Room was clean and big with a nice couch, reasonable priced the only thing I would improve was the bathroom looked like it was rushed to complete with missing and exposed joints and missing caulking. Dirty vents and the door was too close to the toilet.

The first night we were there someone tried to get in our room. They had the door open trying to get the last latch open. Also we were there 4 nights and were not able to get our room cleaned until the day before we left. We gad to go find our own towels and take out our own trash. The maintenance guy was awesome but hes the only one that helped us out.

Hotel has been updated. Some rooms have a remodeled bathroom...but yhe 2 i recently stayed in had poor workmanship on the remodel. Not La Quinta's fault. But overall its a clean nice stay every time.
