Arrived at 2:34pm no one at front desk. 2:47 pm clerk showed up. Said there were no clean rooms and that he was not sure if there would be any at 3pm (check in time) because he was called in to work to clean rooms because no one showed up. Came back at 3: 06 pm and waited in a lobby full of people for help at the front desk. Got help around 3:15 , mgr repeated that no housekeepersshowed up for work and was not sure what was available. I would take anything as I had an appointment at 5 and had to get through rush hour and drive into another state.
Got my keys went to room to shower and wash my hair. Tub was very gross. Scum on the botyom and sides..I did not have shower shoes or my own cleanser. Front desk was nice but the waiting, uncertainty if I was going to make my appointment and disappointment in my bath experience is what gives this place a lower score. I hope they can find the help they need for this place...also at night, the next guest kept going in snd out, slamming his door, he also had a camping chair which he sat in on the walkway next to his door and greeted passersby.
It was disconcerting and I did not sleep well upon my return. I understand thst some guests are staying long term at thos hotel but I wish they still behaved like guests and not like it was their home. It was weird to have some unshaven, unkempt guy sitting in a chair next to my door as I went in and out with my things.
This "less than" now seems to be par for the course.
