Property is looking rough in spots; back door could not be accessed with key card, some mold in bathroom, outlet in bathroom did not work (so I had to dry my hair looking at the microwave door). B'fast was super lame -- just a bagel and yogurt really and a gross waffle iron. The tea selection was just Lipton black -- no herbal. They were price gouging for U of Missouri's graduation. Paying that amount of money for this level of hotel was painful.

Pleasant stay

We did an online reservation and check-in was efficient. It was nice that the woman at the counter was friendly as she was taking care of several guests at the same time. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Even has an elevator to the 2nd floor which several hotels this age do not.

Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay but the only things hot were waffles and coffee, so just a Continental breakfast. Also, toilet seat hinge was broken.

When I first arrived, I was propositioned by some women in the parking lot. Once inside, they told me they would not rent to me because I live in the same city. Then they decided they would. When I got to the room, the room was not very clean and I noticed the window was broken and huge pieces of glass were still in the window frame. At this point I contacted another hotel and stayed with them.

Lots of mold

Walking into the lobby it had a bad smell. The carpet in the hallway to the room looked dirty. As soon as i opened the door and walked in my throat started to swell shut from the massive amount of mold in the bathroom. Went back to front desk and told them we couldn't stay because of the mold. They shrugged their shoulders and said "ok".

Hair was in the bathtub and on the floor. Booger on the sheets. Thankfully there were 2 beds so we didnt have to use that one.. old, outdated, and smelled.

Wish I had paid more to stay at a better place.

The place is way past its prime, needs paint to the common areas. As a female, was a little concerned about the other clientele. I did not feel totally safe. They have a sign that says no Local guests—what does THAT imply?

This was not a quality stay.

The person checking us in was not able to communicate very well in English. The receipt they provided was from a third-party vendor and did not show the amount I actually paid. The TV did not work, and they offered no assistance in getting it to work. They did not provide a wake-up service on the phone. Kids ran the halls all night long.

**Disappointing Stay with Safety and Maintenance Issues** Our stay at this hotel was disappointing due to several safety and maintenance concerns. The most concerning issue was that our **room door did not lock properly**, which raised security concerns. Additionally, **ongoing construction in the parking lot** made navigation difficult and created potential hazards. The room itself had several problems. **We noticed bed bugs**, which we reported to the front desk. Unfortunately, the response was not as prompt or attentive as we had hoped. **The shower stopped working mid-use**, and several electrical outlets did not function, making it difficult to charge devices. The furnishings and overall condition of the room were **very outdated**, and there was a persistent musty odor. Another disappointment was that the **indoor pool was closed**, despite being advertised as available. It was marked as "seasonally closed," which was unexpected for an indoor facility. While the staff was polite, they were unable to resolve these issues during our stay. Given the combination of **security concerns, maintenance issues, and misleading amenities**, I would recommend confirming current conditions before booking.
