In town for CFD. Check in was at 3:00. We arrived at 3:30 and saw tons of people just sitting in the lobby. Staff advised that rooms were not ready because they were short staffed. They said they would call us when our room was ready. We waited until 5:30 and never received a call, so we went back to the hotel. We were then given a key to a "king bed room". When we arrived at the room, it had no front door. Apparently maintenance was replacing the door, but no one mentioned that to us. Additionally, we were supposed to get a king bed, and this room has a queen (or possibly even a full - it was tiny). Super disappointing and not even a "Sorry" from the staff. They acted like they were doing us a service just by being there. I asked if our room would be discounted due to all of the trouble and they said "no, because then we would have to give everyone a discount". If you can find alternate accomodations, I'd highly suggest doing so!
