This is not a hotel. So disappointed that Hotels.com has this option. None of the pictures are what we got. This is a small lot in a neighborhood with 3 small 1 bedrooms, 1 bath with kitchenette. No reception office you let yourself in with a code the driver gives you. The air conditioner and hot water did not work. Very noisy airplanes all day and night, cars and motorcycles passing by. No restaurants or stores nearby. No main road to get public transport or taxis.

We feel scammed.

Pictures were not of the location. Not an airport hotel at all in terms of convenience, though it was underneath a flight path. Not a Mercedes van pick up from the airport but an old minivan marked Tina’s that arrived 40 minutes late. My husband was worried that we were being kidnapped. Also, not a hotel at all but a house in a rather residential neighborhood.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel, so quaint and very friendly staff. They had a shuttle pick us up for a wonderful dinner by the sea. Also the shower is the best shower I have ever experienced. Highly recommend this hotel!

Ett OK boende för affärsresa eller avresa

Det va bra tyvärr strulade wifi under min vistelse så var svårt att jobba effektivt. Trevlig personal och hjälpsamma, skyttel transfer mellan flygplatsen och hotellet var lite si och så. Hotellet ligger ganska avsides där det inte finns något att göra eller se. Men restaurangerna vid havet har skyttel transfer gratis. Städ personalen är lite annorlunda de äter av de nötterna du fått till din dryck utan att fråga vilket jag upplevde konstigt.

Great Hotel

It was a great hotel. The pickup from the airport took an hour after calling, but it was still a good experience. The staff is great and more than helpful. When the restaurant did not have transportation to get there, "SB" drove us there herself in her own personal car. She actually made the whole experience there worthwhile.

Basic

Positives - the hotel shuttle is a plus as cabs are quite expensive. Water pressure in shower also good. The owner (I presume) who we met in the morning was very helpful and kind. On the downside, we arrived late at night and it was dark and frankly felt a little creepy, as it is down an alley and not especially well lit. The beds were OK, although there weren't even fitted sheets on the beds which I thought was odd. There were dogs barking incessantly, not sure what the deal is with that. If from the US I'd equate it to a Motel 6. It gets the job done for a quick overnight, but not somewhere I would choose for ambiance.

Hidden gem near airport and coastal restaurants

Our stay last month at Comfort Stay Athens Airport Hotel was a pleasant surprise! The only thing that gave us a moment's pause was the somewhat isolated location. As we drove through the neighborhood, our taxi driver did not seem familiar with the area, but as soon as we arrived, we realized that this place is a hidden gem! The room was immaculate, spacious and well-appointed. The gated central courtyard area was charming with plenty of seating and several shade trees. We envisioned relaxing there with a glass of wine and regretted not having arrived during warmer weather. The young woman who greeted us was extremely friendly (with perfect English) and professional. A very welcome feature of the service at Comfort Stay is the free shuttle ride to the waterfront restaurants in the area. We had a great dinner there and were relieved to know that, at the end of the evening, we had only to ask for the shuttle to come back to return us to the hotel. We would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat and recommend it highly if you need to be close to the airport or close to the coast.

Very dissapointing

Very disappointing. The sheets were not clean, breakfast was supposed to be included but we were only brought one small croissant per person, the heating didn’t work so we had to sleep with our clothes on. Honestly I want a refund. I had good expectations because of the comments I read, but this was terrible.

Catfished

The location is in the airport runway area on an unpaved road. The grounds have not been maintained in the manner depicted in the photos (weeds overgrown, bushes untrimmed, no pads on any of the furniture). The only vending machine was out of order. The location made the access to any tourist attraction unwalkable. The host was on property only after 4pm and until 9pm. The 23 euro pizza was truly terrible. The host failed to make transportation arrangements for me and my wife as discussed the previous evening.

Lovely garden suite

I stayed in the garden suite which had a nice sized kitchen, living room and bedroom. There were lemon, orange and an olive tree in the yard. The bed was very comfortable. In room breakfast was decent. I would stay here again

We stayed in the cottage/house. The cottage was cute and quaint and spacious. The shower was tiny and the food to the room took quite a while and wasn’t great. The surrounding area is a lot of little apartments and dirt roads, not what I expected. But a short cab ride to Artemida beach was convenient and beautiful. This was good for our family as just a one night stay between flights.

Like staying in a friend's lovely guest room

Our room was small but sublimely comfortable, decorated like a friend's guest room, rather than an impersonal hotel. The bed and linens were lovely, the airport transfers efficient, but what made our stay most enjoyable was Lucia, the manager the day we arrived. She made us feel not just welcome, but coddled.

Very nice rooms and excellent airport shuttle

Very lovely and comfortable rooms around a courtyard not far from the airport, stayed the night before our flight home and the shuttle was perfect and right on time (3:30am), very nice driver. We were there in the offseason, early March, and so the courtyard and restaurant weren’t open, but we had a very nice dinner at the associated property called “Tina’s” which was right next door. If you go in the off season, be sure to communicate ahead of time about exactly where to go and how to get into your room; that part was a bit confusing when we arrived since there was no one at the property; we eventually asked for assistance at Tina’s and after that things went smoothly.
