Misleading advertisement

1) The hotel advertising is misleading. The photos show two pictures of lakes which is non-existent. Of the 33 photos posted, photos 4 and 10 show a picture of a lake, leading to the belief that the hotel is by the lakeside. When I book the hotel, the description for Photo #4 reads, "Escape to a serene lakeside retreat with a balcony overlooking the tranquil water and surrounding forest." and photo 10 caption reads, "Escape to a serene mountain retreat surrounded by a dense forest and tranquil lake," Upon reaching the hotel I enquire, where is the tranquil lake, I was told that there is no such thing. Today, when I opened their photos again, they have changed the captions of both these photos to Point of Interest. Because the name of the hotel says, Lakeview Inns, and with two photos indicating that the lake could indeed be in the property vicinity, which is not the case. I had the option to book a better nearby hotel for at least $25 less. They lured me into believing that I am booking a hotel with a lake view and retreat into the serene environment, which was not the case. They lure and they scam! What a shame! I had a better impression of Canada, but after this experience. It left much to be desired from these scamsters. Oh yes, at 4:00 AM, their bedframe collapsed, depriving me and my son of a good night's sleep. When I brought this to their attention, they expressed remorse, but guess what, they partially refunded my deposit. What a double standard. Shame on you, cheap!

Smoking smell in room.

Non smoking Rooms also smells like smoking room. We booked studio with 2 room. Bottom room had Air conditioning and top room did even had fan nor Air condition. It was hot day and was not able to sleep whole night. Hotel is not clean.

Quite a dingy and rundown roadside hoteL

Quite a dingy and rundown roadside hotel, that seemed more like a cheap motel. For the price we were quite disappointed. The continental breakfast was sub par. Paper plates and plastic utensils. No fresh bread. The service was attentive and nice for sure, but the hotel itself is in dire need of an update. All in all not a good experience for the money, and the first time we’ve been disappointed with the recommendation of hotel.com.

The front desk staff was very good, checking in was easy, the room we received had 2 bathrooms, one in a loft with bed and sitting area, small kitchen area , beds were nice, restaurants near by, breakfast was decent.

Dejligt ophold

Dejligt værelse med trappe op til repo hvor der også var en dobbeltseng samt et badeværelse, så i alt to badeværelse. Der manglede intet , det var også muligt at lave mad på værelset. Morgenmaden var også fin. Sødt og hjælpsomt personale .Kan kun anbefale stedet
