Currently staying here for a business trip. First day: cockroach on bed (only one so far) moldy/mildew smell permeates the room, no room to set anything down except the floor (particularly the bathroom, it is set up like a rest stop bathroom with a sloped sink and a tiny metal tray on the wall. Second day: the faucet in the bathroom is broken and sprays water everywhere if you turn it on more than a trickle, 2 AM the fire alarm begins beeping, (I try to call the front desk but the phone in the room isn't working. (the night manager comes in, pulls one alarm off the ceiling and leaves, nope it is the other ceiling mounted alarm, get him to come back and he pulls that on off and leaves.) Third day (today): I go to the front desk to ask about it and get, "yup, that happened." No apologies or acknowledgement that I had my night disrupted.
I won't complain about the "breakfast" because it is a hotel.
I have 3 more nights of this and am not expecting it to get better.
Edit: The smoke alarms and faucet were fixed when I got back to the room. They did contact me that night to offer a room with a larger bed and then a $25 Applebee's giftcard BUT ONLY AFTER I had posted this review. I turned down the room change because I just was too tired to pack everything up. I did take the giftcard. Day 4: they made a point at check-in of mentioning that they only come in every 3 days to change the towels and sheets so when I saw that there were towels folded on the rails I assumed that meant the
