They bill themselves as a resort, which they are not. Want to use their shuttle? You must sign up 30 minutes in advance. What will you do while you wait? Go back to your room on the other side of the property or go to the poolside bar and sip on a $17 drink?
The room was neat and clean, but the light switches were a chore to figure out; they didn't turn on the lights that you thought they would. The windows don't block out the noise of the feral roosters crowing at all hours of the night.
Don't get me wrong, this is a decent hotel, but for the price we paid, simply because it is on/in Key West, I would expect something akin to the Waldorf.
