Rude and crazy front desk lady
I could not believe the front desk lady had the nerve to scold me over a WhatsApp phone call for simply showing up for my reservation. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived around 7pm after being on the road all day, and just a number to call taped up. I managed to call through WhatsApp and the lady was “very upset” because she was at her daughter’s play. Supposedly she’d been trying to reach me for “days”. Are you kidding? Why not send an email or contact me through the hotels.com app which I check every day? Why leave your number at the desk to call if you don’t want anyone calling you? AND, why abandon your front desk without finding someone to cover you, for a personal reason, when you KNOW someone is checking in that day? Had she sent me an email with instructions to get into the room, it would have been fine. Instead, she was so rude to me, like I was ruining her life by staying there, and it made me nervous for the whole night because she seemed crazy. The room itself was fine for a short stay but VERY LOUD— you can hear kids running around and neighbours slamming doors all night.

We really liked the motel. When we drove up we were doubting our decision to stay there. The outside of the motel really needs work, it looks tired and out of date. But, going in completely confirmed it was a great place. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for a good clean stay this is the place.

The staff lady was very kind and personable as well as helpful. The place was like a western lodge and unique with its layout and photos. The bed is comfortable and the room is large. It was a bit awkward with no bell to ring at check-in but there was a phone # to call. I just felt a little uncomfortable call it but when I did she came right away. Really cool place at a low rate.

Disclouse your pet fees ahead of check in!!
$50 per pet fee should be disclosed BEFORE and up front/first line of booking a room. Not on the next scroll of a page. The rate of $67 night rocketed up to $173 after pet fees and tax, This was our third time staying here and the first time being charged the pet fee, I have seen kids do more damage the my dogs, This will be our last choice to stay at in Livingston next trip

The place looks sketchy on the outside but the room was really nice. It was one of the few places I’ve stayed where I didn’t wake up in pain. The bed was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.
