We were sent to a 1 bedroom apartment instead of 2 as originally booked for first 3 nights as the excuse was that it needed repairs. However, we met the family checking out when we were checking in on the checkin day.. Although the cleaner did a good job tiding the apartment, there was mound and ceiling leak strains . The air conditioner in the 2nd room did not work and the drainage was very slow. There were only 4 dining chairs and 4 sets of cutlery and crockery in the apartment and the apartment was advertised for 6 people. It was almost impossible to contact the owner/agent who does not return calls. .
On the last day, we wanted a late CHC,out but was asked to pay RM50. I refused. I am attaching the WhatsApp.
Hotel.com should not accept renters like these with multitudes of bad reviews

Disastrous First-Time Expedia Experience - Booking Cancelled Last Minute.
I recently booked this property for 6 guests through Expedia just 3-4 days in advance. Upon arrival, the property owner abruptly cancelled my reservation, stating they did not have a unit that could accommodate our group.
The owner was incredibly rude and unhelpful, offering no alternative solutions or apologies for the inconvenience. They simply instructed us to find other accommodations ourselves and promised a full refund, but no refund has been processed yet.
Despite escalating the issue to Expedia and awaiting a response from their higher management, the situation remains unresolved. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated.
I hope Expedia able to compensate for the negligence of their property partners that have caused significant disruption to my travel plan.

Check-in was horrible. I had to text someone to get the mailbox code to retrieve the key. My room was not in the building I booked. It was in a building 500 meters away. I had to wander around asking for help to find the building. I eventually found it. The aircon was not functioning. No hot water. Clothes washer was broken. No ceiling fan in the bedroom, only wires hanging. Only two threadbare dirty towels available. I will never come back.

The apartment is a good size and has a partial sea view. That’s the good part!
The checkin was difficult as we didn’t receive checkin instructions and when we contacted the host he couldn’t find our booking! We were fortunate to have acquired a local SIM card otherwise we would not have been able to communicate. The lobby has no WiFi.
The property description said toilet paper and shampoo and hand soap were provided but they weren’t. The cooktop doesn’t work. There was no dish detergent to do the washing up. There was a washing machine but no laundry detergent.
The main bathroom had a large occurrence of black mold on the ceiling creating a terrible odor which made it unbearable to use the adjoining bedroom and that bathroom. The other bathroom also had mold but not as bad.
When we raised these issues with the host he did nothing and only promised to deliver the toilet paper and soap etc after numerous messages. Despite his assurances he did not deliver the items until 9pm on the evening before our checkout by which time we had gone to bed!! And this was only after we had complained to our booking platform and he had to obviously answer to them.
I have never encountered a more unreliable and unresponsive host and would not recommend this property at any price.
