Great sea view.

We asked for a quiet room with a sea view but the first room was clearly not going to be quiet so we were given another room which was perfect. It had a huge picture window with great views of the sea. The room was newly decorated, comfortable bed but tired furniture.

One night stay

We booked it as it was dog friendly as it was. The bed was very comfortable and the facilitates adequate. The room only had very small windows so there was very little ventilation and it was very difficult to sleep. We found a fan which was of some help however, the dog did get stressed.

Good place to stay overnight for Eurotunnel travel

Well situated hotel on the sea front with easy walk into town. Ideal stopover for travellers on Eurotunnel which is only a short drive away.

Great budget hotel

Really friendly welcome at reception and we quickly got our keys for two twin rooms. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. We used the hotel to stay overnight before a Channel Tunnel crossing which was just 10 minutes away. It was the cheapest hotel that I could find in the area and exceeded my expectations. The decor was improved from the hotel's appearance on Channel 4's "4 In A Bed" a few years previous. Slightly disappointed that they don't offer breakfast, but Gingers in Hythe was excellent.

Ok hotel

Hotel med super placering næsten på stranden. Gode parkeringsmuligheder. Selve hotellet var meget nedslidt - men værelset var ok og sengene var gode. Pris og virkelighed stemte overens

Cheap but you get what you pay for

Friendly staff but a very tired hotel in need of decoration. The room smelt stale, which made it unpleasant. We had the family room which was on two levels, with the bathroom on the upper level - this was actually dangerous as the door leading out of the bathroom led almost directly onto a staggered staircase so there was a real risk of stumbling down the stairs. The car park was full of rubbish and unsecured and my car was covered in a sticky liquid (probably lager) when we left in the morning.
