Was happy to see they’re once again serving breakfast! And they serve until ten a.m. which was great for morns we decided to sleep in. The staff was pleasant,the room comfortable and clean….just a very nice experience.

Good afternoon, My name is Rochelle Hankins. My husband and I booked a stay with our children reservation# 9182022363911 at your location in Columbus/Taylorsville Hampton Inn Friday October 22nd-23rd. Upon entering our room on the second floor, it is was clean and neat. We were previously rewards members of The Holiday Inn Express, but decided to try the Hampton as we are beginning to have many issues over the years with cleanliness, ect. I imagined the stay would be enjoyable, as it started out as such. My husband had attempted to take a shower before we dined that evening, and it was so clogged that he was up to his ankles in water shortly, and couldn't finish. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, they did nothing. Later that evening as we settled in, our television produced very little channels as there was an error no signal sign displayed on the TV. Again, I called the front desk, they did nothing. We were awoken at 4 am for a wake up call we did not ask for! I was very heated by this time, and informed my husband that we would not become members of the Hampton. The next day we had to go eat, and PAY for breakfast at a sister hotel as the breakfast at the Hampton was limited to biscuits and eggs. That is positively ridiculous. Don't offer a complimentary breakfast if you're not actually going to feed your guests. As we were gathering our things prepping to leave early, because we had had enough, the maids on the second floor began to get into a very loud

The room was clean. Lady at front desk when we checked in at 7 p.m. was very nice and friendly. However when we went to breakfast the next morning at 9:30 a.m. they were out of waffle mix and milk. Went to look for breakfast workers and they were not to be found. Walked down the hallway and spotted 2 of them (male and female) sitting outside like they were on break.

This property was well maintained and the employees were all very friendly. My room smelled a little musty but i always bring air freshener so that fixed the problem. My room was 121 and in the morning you could hear the washing machines but it wasn't that bad, but if you require dead silence make sure you aren't by the laundry. There are several dining options in walking distance and a few offer a discount if you show your room key card.
