Best Motel for short stay

It was a typical motel. The room was clean as they can keep a motel. There was some blood spots on the sheets and the place smelled like smoke. If staying for one night then it's just fine. I would get a hotel if staying longer though.

Overall okay place

Overall the room was good for the night. There was some white residue on the carpet still which made me uncomfortable to let my daughter crawl around on. We had a dog. They didn't charge four so that was nice. Would stay again.

Just say no

Check in clerk was great. Male manager was a nightmare. Our toilet handle broke off into my hand and I was told that it would be fixed the next day. Not acceptable. He basically told me too bad he’d be glad to refund my money and I could “have fun” finding a different place to stay (graduation weekend). After I went back up front to get my refund the mgr followed me to my car trying to get me to stay…the toilet had “been fixed” (handle shoved back in the hole) by the maintenance man who 5 min earlier wasn’t available until the next day. Mgr then denied being ugly to me. So down the road we went to a different hotel at 11pm Never have I been spoken to by a customer service rep. Will NEVER stay at a red roof again. Save yourself and don’t stay here. Sleep Inn in Kingsport was a quick drive, great customer service, clean, AND A WORKING TOILET.

Not clean and overpriced

The bathroom was not clean, with hairs all over the shower and tub. The office chair had something all over the seat. The room had a strange odor and the heating/cooling unit fan was covered in dust. Overall, not worth the price and not a comfortable stay.

Hit or Miss

This was my second stay within a month’s time. This room was not as updated as the last. Bed was uneven as if the mattress was lopsided. Heater was old and barely worked. This room had roaches coming from the bathroom. Was near the stairs/elevator so that was a plus but overall not the best stay.

Worst experience ever

Had to spend the night for my daughter surgery the next day and it was dirty and very sketchy and they said they couldn’t move rooms that that was the last room they had nothing was offered to make it better there was hair all in the bathtub, and the comforter looked like it had footprints on it and was dirty

Lovely Stay

Upon arrival it seems like this place would be sketchy but it is very nice. Grounds are clean and has dog park for furrier guest. Parking is ample. Signs are very helpful in guiding. All staff were very nice! Only issue I experienced was with the WiFi. It dropped several times a day while I would be working and was quite frustrating but otherwise very good!

Good stay for the pay

Red Roof was a decent stay for the price and location. The front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful. House keeping staff was always available in the day time hours. The bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. Target is a 2 minute walk away. The only downsides were flat/ soft pillows, the door was beat up and dented, and the parking lot in front of the hotel had garbage and furniture sitting out.
