The check in was great and the front desk clerk was sweet. However, it's 1a.m. and we left the hotel. My family and I kept noticing small bugs on the bed, after we layed down. I thought they were small roaches, not waterbugs. When I pinched the bug, blood was on the tissue! At that point I took my flashlight and was freaking out!!! Went downstairs to get another room and explained what was going on. The gentlemen told me he only had one room, which was not a problem. When i went to check the room before taking my family, it only had one bed and smelled horrible! When i asked for another room, was told none was available. I told him fine, then i needed my money refunded. He said he needed to check the room first. Told him fine let's go check it! He then said, "I have to call the pest control and see if it is bed bugs. Then I'll put money back on card. I'll call you".
My issue is that it's 1 a.m. in the morning and your customers are having issues. The gentlemen said himself he needed to check the room first. That changed when i said OK, let's go! You couldn't accommodate me or my family but we couldn't get our money back to even get another room! I am tired of managers/owners not doing right by their customers! We paid and the company gets to keep our money for issues that have nothing to do with the customers! This is unacceptable and I am very disappointed at how this was handled!
