I stayed here for a one-night stop on my drive west. Online, this place looks great and it was priced well. And it may be great in peak season, but I went in the shoulder, in mid-September. I think they were down to minimal staff. When I checked in, there was a younger man at the front desk who seemed bothered that he was interrupted from whatever he was doing in the back. Not very friendly; very short with answers. But after driving all day, I was ready to rest. My impression was they laid off the housekeepers for the season. The floor was unclean; the surface areas of the room were dusty. There was hair on the floor and the bed comforter; they obviously only washed the sheets and not the comforter, which it's pretty standard to wash the top bedding layer now. The walls were VERY thin - so thin I could clearly hear the phone conversations and TV in the room next to me. No coffee in room. I had to wander out in the morning to find it in the lobby (wasn't told at check-in.) While it was nice to have a "continental" breakfast, the same guy from the check-in (who must live there?) came out at 6am and put a bunch of grocery store-bought plastic containers filled with donuts on the counter. Not a lot of thought or care; he again seemed annoyed to be there. This place was average, although it seemed like it could easily be better with friendly, professional service, CLEAN rooms and soundproofing.
