Good for a Night Stay

It's a good place to stop for a night or two. The front desk guy privided a great check-in service experience. However, the hotel location and the smell of aged walls and carpets are not working in the hotel's favor.

Not a Good Experience

Elevator was not working so we had to take a room on the first floor with one queen bed even though we paid for a room with two queen beds. Toilet ran all night long and internet was sporadic. Bathroom vanity looked like it might cave in at any time. Room lighting was extremely poor.

There is no internet connection available. Because we booked thru Hotels.com employee would not compensate for no internet. If I had not booked thru Hotels.com I would not have known this hotel was there. it it easy off the interstate but is not visible or advertised any where that we have seen. We do travel this way several times a year and typically stay in Princeton.

Not a good hotel

This is possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We were on the third floor and the elevator was broken. They did not have Wi-Fi. Breakfast selections were pathetic. The shower was in bad condition. The shower door leaked and the knob controlling the water had dead spots. This hotel is grossly overpriced. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. I will not be coming back.

The elevator is broke, so everyone must use the stairs. The A/C unit did not seem to want to work properly, no matter what temp it was set at. The shampoo in the shower was not enough for two people to use, you can tell the cleaning staff did not check the level available on the side of the bottle or if they did, they didn’t care to change it. There was no body wash available, just a small bar of soap. Breakfast options are ok. Would have liked to see eggs or bacon/sausage as an option. Only “hot” option was to make a waffle or toast a bagel. The manager that checked us in was very nice and personable. Heard other people checking in without a reservation and they got a cheaper rate for the night which I found strange.

Beautiful area, the hotel does a great job of making it peaceful and reflective of the surroundings even though it is very close to the interstate and the accompanying commerce. Nice touch the picnic table on the side -and the window in the breakfast room that was open in the AM looking out at it. Nice but not necessary additions? Free weights in the exercise room. Hand held shower nozzle.

NOT WORTH IT

Arrived after long car ride, had to wait for check in, told others that the elevator was not working, I was traveling with a handicap senior who could not do stairs, they did find a 1st floor room. Triied wifi and TV - not working, was never informed till I went to desk to ask. Tried to call - phone rang forever, no answer. Location was ok but not worth the savings on the room rate.

Okay for a place to sleep

Fair. There were some issues with our room. The light in the shower “strobed” the whole time. The rooms smelled like it used to be a smoking room. Beds and pillows were good. It was clean. We had some noisy kids above us. We called and reported it, but it continued until midnight. Unfortunately, we think the shift manager has to handle everything, so is pretty much a one man show. It was okay for one night.
