Nice place to stay but couldn’t check in until 4:00 unless we paid an early check in fee of $25. Evidently there were rooms ready since we could get a room right away with paying this fee. Probably won’t stay there again as 4:00 is a late check in time.

AC in room didn’t work and it was terrible hot throughout the property the whole weekend. Front staff had no help. No water available, no coffee, $15 for basic continental breakfast. Room was stuffy when we first got there and smelled of mildew.

Golf course staff is horrible, skip the golf. Do the water activities and eat well. Rooms are good size, place is convenient. Hotel staff also moves slow but good service was great.

Arrowwood is a great facility - especially wonderful for parents with kids - lots of fun options here. The three days in August I was there was really quiet - not sure why - school starting in a week or so, thought it would be busier. Friendly staff and very clean.

Family likes to go there, it’s ultimately a 45 minute drive for us but the facility needs some attention. Waterpark seems to has less and less things working every time we go there. Goose poop everywhere on the outside grounds. With it only being a 45 minute drive for us, maybe an extra 20 minutes on the drive to other water parks wouldn’t be a bad thing. Took a long time to get checked out due to only 1 person working the desk.

Not impressed
When i checked in I had to ask about restaurant details, how to get to my room. The person checking me in did not offer a map or point out a map that i discovered later on my own. The facilities were outdated for the price. I was not impressed with the pool and the hot tub had missing tiles. For the amount we paid per night, i was expecting something nicer. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Property was way overpriced for what you get! Indoor pool and hot tub were brown color and full of kids! Tennis court had no net! We booked early for a wedding and were given a handicap room. Shower curtain would not stay inside 2 inch lip so floor flooded. Toilet didn’t work well (plugged easily or kept running). Mold on fold down seat in shower. No fan mode or heat, air conditioning only! We froze first night! Breakfast in restaurant was $15 buffet only (same food you get free at a cheaper hotel) only it was luke warm. Would not recommend unless you golf!

Seems like this place is having rough time. Staffing issues, management problems, a bit run down. We tried to change our reservation two days before to remove one night from our stay. The person who answered the phone said we'd have to wait until morning because there's was no one on duty who could do it. Knowing that is be charges of I waited that long I ended up having to cancel to booking and rebook... At a lower price, yay me. Then we asked them to put the room on a different credit card than the one we booked with... No problem, except they did charge it to the original card and then charges us for the original booking as well! It took 7 phone calls to get it worked out and another few days before the credit hit my card. On top of all that, one reason we booked this hotel was because it had a nice restaurant which was supposed to be open at 5... Only not the night we stayed... Even the sign in the elevator said they were open that day from 5-9... The front desk staff thought they were open but then said they weren't but that we could go to the pool bar to eat. Not what I had in mind. Really wanted to like this place but they need to get their s#!t together.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and what we expected. The area I’d say needs a great deal of improvement is the boat ramp on site. It’s obviously not been maintained. We made it work thanks to water levels being high. If water levels were average or low, we’d have had no chance of getting our boat in and out of the lake.

What a bummer
We are very light-hearted, low maintenance people. I booked this trip for my kids and I as we've had some pretty significant changes and loss in our lives over the past couple of years. I wanted to treat them to something fun. The kids had a great time, so the trip was a success. My issues came with the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the hotel and waterpark. As a single mom, I have very little extra money, so this trip was a huge extravegance for me. The room door was the first thing that worried me. It didnt shut unless I used force, and there were gouges in the door frame like someone had tried to get inside at one point. When the door was open all the way, it lierally moved the wall behind it. I cant imagine how rotted that wood was. Then the bathroom. Ick. First, there were bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that were from other people's stay as they were opened and used. There was constant dripping and gurgling noises from the tub, and the toilet was a nightmare. The beds were fine but the bedding had rough texture. When I turned the fan for the air on high, it made this awful clunking noise. And the waterpark - oh my word. I'd heard by others it had gone downhill, and that's no joke. There was so much dirt in and out of the water. I didn’t complain because this trip was for my kids and they had a blast, but I'm super disappointed I spent over 650 for one weekend with this type of quality. It made me sad, but as long as my kids were happy, I let it go.

We spent 4 days at Arrowwood. It was fine for our family. Our room had bunkbeds and it was spacious, but the floors seemed really dirty, and it smelled really musty, like an old basement. When we got home all of our suitcases and clean clothes still smelled like the room. The resort is definitely dated, but the outdoor restaurant and pool were really nice. We took advantage of the paddleboards/boats, outdoor pool, volleyball etc. We did not go in the indoor poor (because it was green) or the waterpark (because we didn't want to pay extra). We still had an amazing trip, but the garbage laying around, dirtiness was something I hadn't seen much of at a resort.

She stayed there over the weekend. The rooms and hotel were clean. Grounds were well kept. The staff was exceptional. Only complaint is the pool areas. Both indoor and outdoor pool could use a face lift. It could be amazing with some updates. Chemicals seemed a bit off on the outdoor pool. The lake is amazing. Bunch of sand bars. So fun!

Card access doors don’t lock. Always broken. Wallpaper peeling off everywhere. Dark corridors. Stains on shower curtain. Rude front desk staff. Piles of bird poop dried on sidewalks from overhead nests. If it wasn’t in a nice setting, place would have been razed 20 years ago. Sad to see.
