The hotel was good, the check in process was good and any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
What I didn’t like was discovering we were out in a room with an adjoining door to the next room - this meant we could hear quite a bit from their room, and at times they were noisy - they got up before we did, and we were conscious that they went to bed earlier than us.
The bed wasn’t brilliant, I felt it was quite lumpy and uneven, and it also creaked and made noises when someone sat on the bed, never mind trying to get under the covers.
The only other thing I had issue with was the lack of power points in the room. I had to unplug an alarm clock to be able to plug in the kettle, and there weren’t sockets beside the bed at all. It might seem small but that means phones are on charge across the room, and I didn’t find it very convenient.
Actually, no biscuits with the tea/coffee - weird!
