Check in was poor, didn’t explain about breakfast or facilities just handed the key and wanted my credit card immediately. Hotel was really tired, doors chipped, carpets worn, swimming pool was dusty and flies in the pool. The worst was breakfast, we went in and was told where to sit and then given menus without any explanation as to why as it’s a buffet breakfast. The server as us what we wanted to drink and we said tea. She didn’t seem impressed and left. She brought back a coffee pot with hot water which was obviously broken and only let a dribble out on a pour. The tea provided was two choices, an orange tea!!! And earl grey. We made the tea to then find it tasted of coffee due to the pot used, it was disgustingly. Very little choice on the hot breakfast, very poor buffet for the price. As we were eating our breakfast one of the server walks up and puts a wallet with a bill on on our table saying both and walking away. We literally were half way through our breakfast, it was so rude. I got up and went over to tell her our breakfast was included but she said it wasn’t, I said it definitely was and tried to show her my Hotel.com receipt but she wasn’t interested. As I walked back to the table she suddenly went straight to the reception I would suppose to check. She came back to her station without any confirmation that I was correct until my wife asked and she said it was. No apology and glares throughout the rest of our time there .
