Stay away!!

The hotel is run down and smelled of curry throughout the whole place. The breakfast was a joke. The pictures on the website are outdated and so is the hotel. Only thing going for it is that it's close to the airport. Look at other hotels and pass this one up. Sketchy people hanging outside thru the night, I assume they live there and they had kids running all around and were working on their cars in the parking lot. Carpet in the hallway have seen better days and what's in the room was just as bad. Mold in the bathroom and door didn't seal well. Wyndham really needs to evaluate these places. A bad reputation for the name. I will never stay at another Wyndham because of this hotel.

Toilet seat was broken and the shower temperature was not adjustable. Room was clean and comfortable. Shuttle service was excellent. Neighborhood is across from the State Prison

The place is a dump. Red flag #1- one person manning the whole place. We arrived ant around 4:30p and the sign at the front desk said they would be back- on a shuttle service. Rooms musty, old smelling, stuff on the floor. Just awful. Thankfully, our stay was short as we had an early morning flight. Don’t stay here!

Good Value, Friendly People

The Baymont is convenient to Albany Airport. They have a free airport shuttle, though I waited more than anticipated for the ride. This Baymont is a good value, with friendly staff. I found out that they also provide airport parking and a shuttle, with the parking price being very economical. It was a quick overnight stay, so I didn't see the fitness room. The continental breakfast was as advertised.

Awful hotel in a great location.

The hotel did not have breakfast or a gym. Both offered online. The rate at the hotel was offered $25 less than I paid online. The hallways and bed room stunk of weed. When I complained they offered me a spray deodorizer for my room. Would not or will not stay at this hotel again. If this is the quality of a Wyndham hotel they should revoke their licence.

Not advised

There were running children above us...very loud. I got the impression they lived there but not sure. Bathroom had peeling paint in the shower. Towels were too old in some cases. Door to the outside didn't lock. Breakfast was only snacks in a brown bag. Staff was friendly though.

The first room had stained and dirty sheets and towels. I asked for another room and in that room the bathroom shower was dirty as well as the toilet and there was no toilet paper. I can't upload my pics that I took on here just yet. I will log on in my phone a little later.

There are better options in the area

The lobby had a particular odor, not quite sure what. Hallway was cold. Heat was off in the room when I went in. (This was in mid-Feb in upstate NY.) When I turned on the water to shower in the morning, it was brown - my guess from rust build up (when was the last time it was used?!?). After a few seconds, the water ran clear … and cold. The spigot and shower head arm were both loose. On the plus side, the bed was clean and comfortable. Nice tv with free HBO. And the price was cheap. Also offer cheap overnight parking if you’re flying out and returning in a few days. Very close to the airport.

Comfortable and cozy and priced right.

This place was great. Came for the World Cup Ski Jumping event. There was lots of snow every evening and cold for sure. But the room was plenty cozy. Parking was a little weird having to be creative sometimes in the evening as it filled up and finding a parking nook to grab. But we managed to always have a spot. Text communication with the operator was excellent. We will stay again if visiting again. Price was competitive. Room 18 was small but adequate for the wife and I as we were busy out and about. Comfortable and cozy! I would suggest the owners change the chairs to flat padded ones instead of the plastic molded curved ones just to be easier to put boots on while wearing layered winter clothing. A++!!

Dirty, paint peeling, dirty shower, mold, very cold room and took a long time to warm up. Grey towels and bed linens with a musty smell everywhere. Noticed the smell as soon as I walked into the lobby.
