There are better options in the area
The lobby had a particular odor, not quite sure what. Hallway was cold. Heat was off in the room when I went in. (This was in mid-Feb in upstate NY.) When I turned on the water to shower in the morning, it was brown - my guess from rust build up (when was the last time it was used?!?). After a few seconds, the water ran clear … and cold. The spigot and shower head arm were both loose. On the plus side, the bed was clean and comfortable. Nice tv with free HBO. And the price was cheap. Also offer cheap overnight parking if you’re flying out and returning in a few days. Very close to the airport.

Comfortable and cozy and priced right.
This place was great. Came for the World Cup Ski Jumping event. There was lots of snow every evening and cold for sure. But the room was plenty cozy. Parking was a little weird having to be creative sometimes in the evening as it filled up and finding a parking nook to grab. But we managed to always have a spot. Text communication with the operator was excellent. We will stay again if visiting again. Price was competitive. Room 18 was small but adequate for the wife and I as we were busy out and about. Comfortable and cozy! I would suggest the owners change the chairs to flat padded ones instead of the plastic molded curved ones just to be easier to put boots on while wearing layered winter clothing. A++!!

Not great
When I got there at 8pm there was a sign on the desk asking guests to wait patiently that the desk clerk would be back soon. I waited 20mins all the while I heard someone on the phone in the back. So I dialed zero and that same person answered. 🙄

Nice Room Questionable Staff
I headed to Albany a day early to avoid a snowstorm and needed a reasonable hotel with an airport shuttle. I asked the clerk at check in for a late checkout because my flight wasn't until late afternoon. He said I could check out at noon. The room was large and comfortable. Unfortunately someone began banging on the door aggressively at 11:15 and yelled at me that it was after check out time. I informed him that I had been given a late check out and he said that was ok and he left. That left a bad taste in my mouth. Then it turned out that he was the guy who drove me to the airport.

Wouldn't set foot here again if you paid me to
This was awful. Stay somewhere else. The room was dirty. There was a used crusty towel hanging over the shower rod. A pool of dried milk below the fridge on the shelf and a large dark red stain on the carpet in front of it. There is an alarm clock, but no batteries and it isn't a plug in. There was a trail of dark stains all along the edge of the dust cover. Undermount sink detached from the counter. Deep stains in the drop ceiling tiles. Windham should be absolutely appalled at the condition of this place. Says there is grab and go breakfast. No. There isn't. It was closed down and you were directed to the front desk to grab a "sack". Go to the front desk. No one is there. There is a sign saying we will be right back. They never showed their faces.
