Quality and comfort
I was so impressed with the cleanliness and facilities. This is my first time in Salisbury that I found a hotel that I was comfortable and not afraid to lie on the bed.

Poor!
It was not comfortable, no heat! Was blowing cold air, no hot water for shower, lukewarm, lights didn’t work in kitchen area, was too tired when we got there to call anyone, we turned heat off completely, but the final straw was no hot water! Froze getting out of shower. We payed good money for this room, evidently hotel is more concerned with saving money and customers not being comfortable, will not recommend!!!! Will never stay at a Hilton again!

Not worth expense!
The hotel itsel is very clean & Nice staff But you get charged for parking $11 dollars a night which is ridiculous & not warned up front. Backside of parking is adjacent to 2 low motels which had lots of yelling, fighting all through out the Night! Bed are very hard! Save yourself some money and go to Hampton Inn.!

A disappointment
They charged my card at check in. Key pad said approved. The money came out my account then the hotel clerk tell me it was declined on THEIR END and that i couldnt check it. They told me to call my bank and confirm it went through. Bank confirmed and they still would not let me check in after THEY (hotel) already took my money. I was not from the area. I had to drive hours late at night back home with my toddlers that was fussy and tired from the day events. Now im out of money hotel took from me that i must wait however long for the dispute to be complete

Disappointing and deceptive fees
Very disappointing stay. I usually stay at other brand hotels but decided to try this brand due to room size needs. Booked my stay long ago and was charged a random charge after the fact. $11.77. Called and was told it’s a new parking fee just enacted. I booked before the “new” fee and should not have been charged. Parking and parking lot entrance is terrible. You have to turn around at another hotel to get back onto the road to get into entrance. Overnight Road noise is awful. I was awake until 2:30@am due to road noise, police sirens, motorcycles revving. This place is not for families seeking to stay due to the train venue nearby. Do not recommend. Did not have enough bedding for sofa bed and attendant was annoyed when I came down to get some bedding bc “she was the only person working”. Breakfast was ok. Rust stains in bathtub and shade barely shut and the automated closer malfunctioned. We made it work. I am not one to complain but being charged an undisclosed fee put me over the edge.

Terrible experience
We had to wait over 1 hour to check in because they were short staffed on cleaning crew. Check in was suspicious because they act like it was my fault they couldn’t see where the booking was paid for. That was my 1st clue to how checking out was going to go. When we were checking out they wanted to to pay AGAIN and do THEIR job and call and figure out where their money was. Terrible customer service and we will never stay again. From now on we will be paying extra to avoid hotels.

The property and staff were very cordial. We liked the option of being able to purchase food/beverages and put on our room account and the breakfast buffet was very good!!! but a couple of things weren't very good: Most hotels we stay at have a physical guest directory in the rooms that has a channel guide for TV - apparently Homes 2 doesn't offer local channels? not sure. Also, accessing internet was too tedious and apparently there's a charge for internet? - my wife had to use hotspot on her phone. Overall, it was a good stay but these few minor things made it not excellent.

Check-in and out was super fast and easy. Loved the layout. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Great water pressure. Excellent amount of space. Ample parking - however, most of the spaces were too narrow. I did have a large SUV, but I noticed the smaller compact cars were still squeezed between the lines.

Pros, cons & side note. Overall Great Stay!
Pros: Clean functional room with the amenities of a small apartment. Front staff was nice. I did like the text check ins you can opt into. Cons: This doesn’t take away from my cleanliness rating, but the office chair, was filthy and very worn. I avoided sitting on it. Others have made comments regarding the office chairs in their rooms… come on Home2, please acknowledge this as an eyesore. The bed was very very firm. After the first night my husband and I woke up sore our last 2 days. Side note: The breakfast was overall okay. I don’t expect 5 star quality from an included hotel breakfast but the microwave bacon was a let down for sure.
