I’m not one to complain. I actually hate being the “Karen type” but someone needs to shed some light on this hotel.
The cleaning staff was great. The language barrier was sometimes difficult, but we made it work. Their pricing for their bars, the indoor one and outdoor before going to the beach had different pricing for the same exact drink. And yes, it was the same day just different times. The following day I get the same drink and it’s even more. I don’t mind paying, I just like consistency. To speak with the front desk I had to call several times to finally get someone on the phone while I was staying. Before I stay, I tried to call a day prior just to verify my booking and no one answered. In one occasion, I found water leaking out of the elevator shorting out one of the lights in there. I mentioned to one of the staff but I never saw anyone address it. Ate breakfast 1 time at the restaurant. Have to say, the service was absolutely awful. Took forever to get drinks, refills and food. Waited over 20 minutes for toast. Just regular toast.
