Tryp Wyndham in Lawrenceville is a most convenient and, frankly, cool location. We were visiting family who lives three blocks away, but beyond that convenience: great food is available right out the door up and down Butler Street (and even just upstairs on the rooftop deck). We were able to walk to the Roberto Clemente museum - which should not be missed. Breakfast Arepas from the food truck a couple of blocks away, ice cream just beyond that (we preferred Millie's) good coffee practically in every block - pretty much everything you could want is within easy reach.
As for the hotel itself, we love the whole vibe: using the former technical school materials throughout is just cool. Our only concern is that this is an older building and, while the facilities and rooms themselves are nicely appointed, the water pressure is NOT great. But, we will deal with poor water pressure anytime because everything else is awesome. We even had a micro room, but never felt crammed in - probably because we were mostly out and about.
