Great value, beds aren’t

I’d stay again out of convenience and price. Location is perfect for me. Rooms smelled like smoke, maintenance was awesome and came and febreezed the whole room and stayed late for the pool to stay open. Beds were not comfortable at all. Staff is awesome and helpful!

Check in was fast. After getting our belongings out if the car and opening the room's door we were hit with an indescribable odor-musty? animal stench? I immediately returned to the check in desk and shared my concerns with the smell in the room and was told all other rooms were full and a move was not possible but they would send maintenance to the room. Upon return to the room I also noticed used kleenexes on the side table and trash in the trash cans. Possibly an easy cleaning miss that I could have gotten over but the smell was totally unacceptable. Rhonda, a SUPER SWEET, recently hired cleaning staff member showed up to the room within about 15-20 minutes with a bottle if a Febreeze like product in hand. She was extremely apologetic and sprayed down everything in the room. I checked online and this hotel was not full as previously stated-check in staff simply chose not to move us. Room is in desperate need of deep cleaning and/or new carpet. I appreciate Rhonda's efforts and believe she will be an excellent addition to staff here but unfortunately more than Febreeze is needed to eliminate the odors in the room. Breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent!

The Clarion is a pretty old property and a little run down. However, the bed was comfortable and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Great customer service!

Mal en la reservación decía que tenía shuttle aeropuerto-hotel-aeropuerto, pero solo es en horas muy determinadas, los vuelos en Minot llegas muy tarde y te vas muy temprano, el shuttle no sirve.

The main reason for booking this place was for the pool area for our daughter. We were not informed about the pool being closed until 2 hours before check in and that is only because I called to ask for early check in. The hotel offered to cancel my stay at no charge which was nice but offered no other accommodations. They stay was lovely and hassle free, we were just disappointed on the timing of letting us know this situation. Had we known much sooner, I would have probably moved hotels with no frustration for the Clarion.

Hotel was having a rough weekend

They were very friendly and interactive with my kiddos. They had an issue happen with the pool so it was unavailable during our stay. But they called and offered to cancel our room free of charge due to the inconvenience, which was very respectable. Used the fitness room which was very clean and well kept. The waffle maker wasnt working properly, which was disappointing for my child, but overall it was a good place to stay. Ive stayed in the past and loved each previous stay. This is a nice facility with kind and generous employees.
