Room was poor, boarded over hot tub in the room that made the room smell musty, broken tub, fire alarm ripped off wall. No one to greet us. Registration clerk not 24:7. A note to renters not to contact them if we can’t figure out internet or if it’s not working. They only get involved for emergencies & I can’t imagine how long it would take to get help.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed was super comfy, and we loved the rustic nature of the lodge. The views were great, and we enjoyed hanging out on the balcony with other couples that we were traveling with and watching deer. We were a little disappointed because the hot tub in our room was not available due to some plumbing issues, but I understand that these things happen. Overall a nice place and good value.

We checked in on a Saturday. I checked the room and the bed had a big stain on the comforter. I pulled back the sheets and I saw stains on the sheets. I took pictures of them. I went to the office and showed the lady. She apologized and asked me would I want to transfer rooms? I had already sanitize the room so I said no can I get clean sheets and a clean comforter. She gave them to me and said that she would let her manager know and housekeeper will come pick up the dirty sheets and comforter in the morning. Housekeeper never came. We checked out on Monday. I told another lady what had happened. She apologized and said that the manager or her will give me a call. As of 7:16pm September 1, 2025 nobody has called me yet.

There were scuff marks on the wall. But it was a nice &clean room. Also was told certain rooms were not available. I walked past same rooms empty my whole weekend. The staff was friendly. Make sure to bring food to snack on. Few restaurants close by. The steakhouse down the road is pricey.

Great getaway for nature and comfort

The establishment was great, the service was awesome and the pricing is outstanding. My only grievances was the wifi wasn’t reachable in certain spots, and the location is harder to find than prepared for. All things considered I will be coming back at some point.

Log Cabin vacation

We stayed in a log cabin which was cozy comfortable and relaxing. My kids first time staying in a log cabin and they really enjoyed themselves and want to comeback soon!!

The location and scenery was great, but the Queen bed was very uncomfortable!! Me and my wife back was hurting after sleeping on the bed for two days. I do ask that they spray for bugs in the room or some type of pest control to better control of critters.

Very comfortable and quiet. It’s a great place to leave in the morning and return for bed in the evening. Other than a couple of fire pits and a nice distance view, there are no activities here at the lodge. The lodge is a separate facility from the Inn and the cabins. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms do have different options. There is no food served here so your eating choices will require a drive.
