Fantastic
I have stayed in this area at several hotels for family reasons in the past two months. Kasa Sunset Los Angeles was by far the best value of the places I went to - the most spacious, comfortable and livable. They have free and fast secure wifi which is a big plus. They are available 24/7. The space was very clean and well cared for. I would definitely come back if the need arose.

Everything I needed!
Stayed at the Kasa Sunset while visiting my son who was at Emerson LA for the semester. The location was perfect--I could walk to his dorm. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a great kitchen setup. I had to extend my stay unexpectedly and was able to attend virtual meetings from the room--good wifi and it didn't look like I was in a hotel room. The staff was very responsive and accommodating when I extended my stay and even made sure I didn't have to change rooms. The neighborhood is kind of desolate, but it was the location I needed and the setup was perfect.

The accommodation is in a good location if you want to spend most of your time on the Walk of Fame, but everything else is far away. We stayed for 6 days, and no one came to clean or take out the trash. We didn't have clean towels; I had to go to the laundromat and pay to wash them. As for the accommodation, it's nice and spacious, but the downside is that the cleaning staff didn't come to the room, while six of them were sitting in the lounge drinking coffee.

My trip to L.A. was postponed (outside my control), so I asked both Expedia and Kasa Sunset *not* for a refund but to transfer the cost of my stay to a future reservation. They wouldn’t do it. Wouldn’t budge. Never spoke to a human, either. All through AI chat boxes. It’s that inflexibility that forever turns me off as a traveler & customer. Will go back to *only* using Hotels.com (which have granted me refunds in the past) and will def never book at Kasa Sunset again. Recommend no one else does either.
