Selling a Dream
The hotel does NOT match up with the pictures that are posted. The second the elevator doors opened I said "oh my..". When we got to our room, there were two doors. One was completely unlocked and did not need a key to enter. The transfer strips on the floor were not glued down and were an easy trip hazard. The entire front half of the room did not have electricity. When the staff came up to correct the issue we were told that the maintenance man was off the clock and could not assist. We were then moved to a different room 4 floors up. This room was pleasantly nice. The day staff were super sweet and very helpful however the woman that worked the night shift was incredibly rude and made us feel as though we were an inconvenience. The other downfall is that the parking is located across the street but that wasn't so bad as they allow you 15mins out front to load/unload your belongings. It has a lot of potential..maybe I caught them at a bad time. The building overall needs a lot of work and seems to lack general upkeep.
