Disappointing stay
The lady at Check in was friendly.However that was about the only part we enjoyed from our stay.We had to cut our stay short we were unable to sleep there were noises all night long, persistent noises on the roof,also a sound of dripping water all night long, and you can also hear the cars and trucks driving by because the location is right off the main road..Also it appears that when they swept the floor they just pushed everything under the 2nd bed it was very dirty underneath the 2nd bed.We paid for 2 nights we left after the first night.

Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
This place is great. They have added so many little touches to make the room so comfortable. We stayed in the Shenandoah Peace Suite. When we walked in we found mugs with hot chocolate to prepare, and a bottle of wine. There were other drinks available. We definitely used the fridge and the microwave. There were lots of pillows on the beds, and down comforters available. Along with shampoo & conditioner they offered deodorant, hand soap & same scented hand lotion. In the bathroom they have a little heater, so you can make the bathroom toasty pre shower. The restaurant on site is convenient, and everything we ate was very tasty. There were massive storms the day we checked out. They were willing to give us a late check out to let the weather pass by. The customer service was great all around.

Our suite was exactly what our family needed. We were able to go into town and enjoy different things and come back to the lodge to recharge quickly and safely. The restaurant/bar at the top of the hill had great food and service. I would highly recommend this lodge. We will be returning on our next visit.

This property was amazing! We walked in to the cutest cabin like room ever. It was decorated for Christmas and even had a bottle of wine and cookies with a welcome card waiting for us. The hosts were so accommodating and helpful. The Dugout sports bar that is right next door was just as friendly and the food was delicious. The property is right up the road from Helen, tubing, hiking, horse back riding and a few historic sites as well. My family and I loved our stay and would highly recommend!!
