Great location and room, awful bathroom
I’d give this room a 10 and the bathroom a 2. The room is huge with a great view, comfortable bed, full kitchen, plenty of space for our family of three. The bathroom was clean, but tiny with no storage for all the stuff that goes on a bathroom vanity. The biggest problem, and the easiest to fix, was the towels. These were the most threadbare towels with loose threads and actual holes in them, you would turn them into rags at your own house. Surely buying new towels would not be much of an expense and would vastly improve the guest experience. The shower was clean but small, cheaply made and not enough water pressure to get sand out of my thick hair.
This is not the hotel’s fault but it had not occurred to me there wouldn’t be an elevator, or to ask for a room on a low floor because of no elevator and three flights of steep steps. So be aware of steps are not your friend.
The parking situation was a little confusing but we could always find a spot in the overflow parking a short way up the street.
