This will be a strange review in that I didn't leave the room for the entire stay. I didn't eat in the restaurant, and I didn't explore the area, although the area looked to be amazing. I came down with food poisoning and double pneumonia while in Berlin ( on my way to Copenhagen.) The staff could not have been kinder. When, on a Sunday, when I inquired about a clinic, they saw to it that a doctor came to the hotel. That alone makes this hotel stand out in my mind.

The Nimb Hotel is truly exceptional. Having traveled extensively, we can confidently say it ranks among our top five hotels. From start to finish, it delivered a true five-star experience—impeccable staff, excellent service, beautifully appointed rooms with antique furniture, superb restaurants, and awesome views of the Tivoli garden and the remarkable moorish-style building itself. Loved staying in such a historic and colorful harbor area. Easy walking to Hop On bus stop, canal boat tours, restaurants and walking to a street food area. A little busy due to its location to attractions, but overall the hotel is in a very enjoyable area. For those who expect A/C in their room, the Hotel does not have it, but the room had an electric fan and the weather was cool at night, so I was very comfortable.

The hotel is great. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. I was given an upgrade to a large room which I appreciated. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is on an island and rather secluded, especially at night. The famed Freetown Christiania is barely ten minutes away and there are many coffee shops nearby.

Property is in a great location, staff is minimal but friendly and accommodating, was able to schedule taxi service for us which was really appreciated. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed, great grocery store only four blocks away (Neto), would stay there again.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Copenhagen
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Copenhagen is in January, February, and October, when hotel prices are typically lower. For a great value for money experience, plan to stay for at least 2 to 3 days to fully enjoy the city’s key landmarks and cultural offerings. During your visit, you can explore historic sites, museums, and impressive architecture, as well as enjoy biking through the city, dining at local eateries, and strolling through beautiful gardens. With careful planning, you can take advantage of affordable options and make the most of your trip to this vibrant city.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Copenhagen, visit the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, keeping you updated on availability and price drops for your favorite hotels. This way, you’ll be poised to book an unforgettable last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Copenhagen hotel. If you're interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might be more budget-friendly, assisting you in your search for a great deal.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Copenhagen's outstanding public transportation system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit farther out that is still well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there’s often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative locations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
