Could be better
There was a dirty piece of soap left in the bathroom with a hair on it when we arrived. The walls were very thin and other guests were very noisy including kids running up and down the halls, people yelling, and swearing. The tv did not work and the front desk sent 2 different guys to the room just to replace the cable so we could watch tv. They offered for us to change rooms but we were already settled for the night. I asked them to take some money off our bill for the inconvenience but that did not happen either. Overall not a great stay. I’m glad it was only 1 night.

I would recommend
We enjoyed our stay overall but since it was two adults and four children we chose to get the 3 beds with two rooms and for some odd reason they decided to put that room directly above the reception desk and over looking the entire lobby. The lobby is nice but you could hear the kids and us since we were over the reception and lobby and everything echoed. We had a couple complaints of course. The kids were just being kids, excited to be in a hotel room. So, it made us a little uncomfortable and we probably won’t go back unless they have another 3 bedroom away from the lobby. Another thing we had to go upstairs and that was a bit much for the kids and when we had got breakfast and bringing in bags. I didn’t see an elevator but there may have been one someone further from our room. However, the ladies at the front desk were nice and great service! We have stayed at a few hotels in Sandusky and I will say this was our best one yet as far as cleanliness.

Cheap, great service, and good for a couple days..
This is a great inexpensive place to stay especially if you want to save money and go somewhere like Cedar Point. Service was excellent and friendly during the early morning and late night shifts. However, sleeping on the bed was a little rough for me as it was more on the firm side. It wasn't the worse thing in the world but the Comfort Inn can do a little better to live up to there name. I would say the one nice thing about the room is that there is a mini fridge. But overall I would say my stay was good so if you where considering staying here for a couple days for Cedar Point I say go for it.

Said the room had two queens and a full, but it was three fulls. I’m just not sure why they lie. Shower barely worked. Beds were very uncomfortable and old as well. Overpriced for what it was. Will stay elsewhere next time.

We checked in late around 10pm after visiting cedar point. Going to bed around 11pm, there was a bug on the bed so I killed it and didn’t think much of it.. we checked out the next day. Came home and getting ready for bed I notice red bumps all over my left arm where the bug was that I killed. I goggled what bed bugs look like and that’s what it was!! I’m disgusted!! The bumps itch so I have to put cream on. This needs to be resolved ASAP so others don’t have the same issue!

We booked our room & pd. But when we arrived there were NO rooms available. Not only for myself but the 10 others in line. The poor guy working alone was trying to find other hotels in the area for us to go to. He did find us a room in Norwalk about 15min away & I had to pay another walk in rate for 2 nights to the new hotel which was more money & dirty but it was our only option at midnight! Now I have pd Expedia hotel fees & I also used my key cash. Will I get this money all refunded??

Breakfast was just okay, bathrooom not fully clean
I appreciate when hot breakfast is included (and not just continental) but it was really lacking. The egg-like product was really wet and gloppy. The meat-like sausage patties were flimsy and bland. We really appreciated the waffle makers, though. And inside the room there was no soap on the bathroom sink, but there was one open and in-use in the shower (the bathroom was not fully cleaned or tended to prior to check-in). I would normally give the staff an opportunity to fix it, but we weren't checked in until nearly 11pm and it was way past time to get the kids to bed.
