Beautiful property with a lovely pool bar. Wonderful helpful staff and incredible breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. So easy to walk to sight and bars and restaurants. 15 min walk to wee bars to watch the Mekong sunset.

The staff was extremely helpful and answered many questions we had about sights to see and places to eat. The location was great to walk to the night market, walking street and local restaurants. The pool was very nice after a day of sightseeing. The made to order breakfast was a super bonus and delicious.

Colorful serene refuge

Stylish comfortable stay at in the center of the Lao capital. Loved my large colorful suite with adjustable blinds. Great a/c. Slightly inconvenient shower. Nice refuge from the general disaster that is Vientiane.

POETRY IN DEVOTION TO CUSTOMER SERVICE

The Lao Poet Hotel reception, restaurant and bar personnel are all highly professional. The receptionist especially provided us with useful and money-saving information. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet and clean. It is centrally located for easy access to shopping, sights and restaurants. There’s every reason to rhyme with the poetry of this place,

We stayed at the Lao Poet for 5 nights. Loved the decor and our room (610) was a good size and quiet. The location is excellent and within walking distance to key sites. There are banks to change money right down the street and several good restaurants within a few minutes. The staff were very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was very fresh. The menu isn’t huge but there is enough to keep it interesting. We stayed for dinner at the hotel one night and it was very god as well. Roof top pool/bar was great to relax after a day of walking around. Would recommend this hotel.

An amazing stay, especially given the price. My 2 nights at the Lao Poet Hotel were the best past of Vientiane. Comfortable room and a nice rooftop to enjoy the sunset. The service level began even before I arrived, the staff assisted in setting up airport pick up as well as procuring a train ticket for the next stop on my journey. I had to leave early and missed the including breakfast on my last morning but they sent me off with an exceptional breakfast box! I was thoroughly surprised at the quality when I opened it when waiting for my train. And so much fruit I shared it with monks at the station. Thank you to Zack and the whole front desk team.

A beautiful stay!

The staff were so kind and attentive! They realized we would be arriving very early after an overnight flight and allowed us in to the room for a much needed nap. The hotel is among the most beautiful in town. The rooftop pool provided a beautiful view and a nice way to cool off! The restaurant had a wonderful menu and we enjoyed a very nice easy meal on our arrival.

Great boutique hotel

Great boutique hotel with excellent service. Pool is a nice pace to relax after a days sightseeing. Only issue is noise in the street at night but tho sis to be expected in the city center I guess.
