Magical/CLEAN/DREAM

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect since I had never been to Block Island but my fiancé has and told me just fyi all the inns are just older..etc. Coming into the inn it was so beautifully done, so much character every which way you turned, and the breakfast in the morning was so quaint like something out of a movie. The ROOM was incredible! We got the suite (room 9) the largest room they had and let me tell you it was LARGE! The room was so clean and the whole place smelled so clean (I am very OCD so I notice those things) but even my fiancé mentioned how clean it smelled there! The bed was insanely comfortable I can’t even begin to tell you. We have stayed a lot of places and this bed by far took the cake! I’ve never slept better! Whole place was magical and I would 100% return and stay at Payne’s again! **pics are blurry bc all I got was a video so I screenshot what I could.

Charming place in New Harbor

We enjoyed our visit to this clean, solid, accommodating inn. Lovely hosts run a charming place with a laid back vibe for a welcoming stay. Great spot with water views but it’s a mile walk or cab ride from Old Harbor ferry. (No Uber) Decent breakfast.

Block Island in the Fall is magical and the view from the backyard was magnificent. Check in was very quick and easy. Room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a small balcony. Great location - walking distance to town.

This was my first visit to Block Island and this property was one of the highlights of the trip. It was cute, clean, had gorgeous views and staff was welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised at the morning breakfast and enjoyed it while I took in the view! I enjoy walking so a huge perk for me was the walks I could get in to go shopping and sightseeing. Taxis were quick though if that's not a preference.

The owners, including Chef Andres, were so kind and outgoing. The facility was beautiful and well-maintained! We were able to leave our luggage before and after check out while we continue to bike and enjoy the island. Game changer. The facility was also close enough to bike from the ferry. With a few options to walk for dinner. Definitely want to go back in the future!

First of all, there was nothing I did not like it was all beautiful. The view from the balconies were beautiful great sunset view. The Gardens were beautiful as well. I recommend anyone who is looking for a couple of days off vacation time look into this place.

Overall it was a nice serene place to stay. The room was clean and well appointed. The only downside is that I only stayed one night. I enjoyed my included breakfast while sitting in an Adirondack chair overlooking the bay. They also have Payne's Donuts right there so no having to hike down the road and wait in line.

Payne’s is beautiful, the staff is so welcoming, the breakfast was amazing and the coffee was delicious! I sat out on the deck morning and night looking out over the harbor. It is centrally located and an easy walk to downtown. I have found my Block Island home!
